Process documentation
I first started my project on the basis that Arizona Ice Tea has not changed their price since their creation. Amid tariffs and increase of cost of living, news stories about the CEO not changing their price started getting published. From what I could find, Arizona did not create anything other than a social media post about the situation so I thought I could fill that void by creating a mock campaign to emphasize brand loyalty and the pricing.

I started by collecting assets and buying Arizona Ice Tea products to analyze the package design. For my purposes I found it was easier to buy the Arizona bottles instead of the cans people usually buy because they have a wrapper that can be flattened when taken off the bottle. Which I then scanned into my pc

To get to the finished product, I tried to create some of the assets from the ground up which took awhile, especially for trying to find out how to recreate the bevel and emboss linear gradient effect on the logo for the lemonade flavor can, which was the branding design I wanted to go off of for my mock campaign.

To create some of the posters and motion graphics, I made some vectors out of the key elements of the can/wrapper designs which would be immediately associated with Arizona.
Putting it all together

I then brought some of the vectors into photoshop, on top of the scans of the wrappers to blend them together to make a cohesive look. This graphic above was used in the can animation by moving the graphic little by little on the mock up, so over time it looks like the can is rotating.

Poster designs and assets used in Arizona Ad before bringing them into photoshop/after effects for texture and animation. I decided to use texture to reflect the grungy nature of the 1990s as a call back to when the company started to reflect the non changing price of the drinks.
